Iffraaj colt sells for a record price!

The first yearling sale of the year is already complete and it was a successful one for Willow Park. 

 

We started with a bang, our first lot through the ring was the Vancouver colt out of stakes winner, Exclusive Lass. A lovely first foal with a fantastic big walk, he was purchased by Coolmore for $600,000, making him the top lot of our Magic Millions draft. 

 

As always, our Book 2 horses were well received, with the Iffraaj colt out of Belle de Jeu (pictured) selling for $370,000 to Orbis Bloodstock, which made him our second highest priced horse overall. This was not only the top price in Magic Millions Book 2 2020, but also the highest price ever paid in this session! 

 

Overall we had a 100% clearance rate for 14 horses offered and averaged $146,464. Our Book 2 results are worthy of a mention on their own, with an average of $93,389 and aggregate of $840,500.
