Seventh win for El Rocko

Everyone's favourite wet tracker, El Rocko (Fastnet Rock), registered his seventh win on Saturday, winning over 1600m for the first time in his career.
The rising seven-year-old took advantage of his lightweight 53kg, crossing from the outside gate to take the lead and stay there, winning by 0.75L on a soft 5 track.
El Rocko beat a strong field at Caulfield, with dual Gr2 winner Forgot You (NZ) in second and Gr3 winner Munhamek (GB) in third.
The win took his earnings over $566,000, more than double his yearling purchase price of $250,000, when chosen by John Mcardle and Pacific Bloodstock from our 2020 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale draft.
A half-brother to Gr1 winner Foxplay (Foxwedge), stakes placed El Rocko is out of American Listed winner Butters (USA) (Tapit).
And wasn't the only Willow Park graduate taking home his seventh career win on Saturday, with Pharoah Magic (American Pharoah x Could It Be Magic) also scoring his seventh for trainer Gary Clarke.
In a rich vein of form since relocating to Darwin, Pharoah Magic made it back-to-back victories, having also won a week earlier in a dominant fashion.
Pharoah Magic has won seven of 18 starts particularly relishing the change of scenery after being sold online to Gary Clarke. Since relocating to Darwin, he has had 12 starts for six wins and four placings.
The rising six-year-old was foaled at Willow Park and sold at the Magic Millions Weanling Sale for $70,000 to Lime Country Thoroughbreds and James Bester Bloodstock.
